Our protector in need....

Our protector, our teacher, our first love—the person who has shown us patience and work ethic more than anyone else—this our my dad.

Our dad has been everything to us throughout our life. He has been our main provider and our rock. He has been married to our mother for 33 years and has shown us, through their love, how a family should love, uplift, and support each other. His children include Emiliano, Stephanie, Jessica, and myself, Ashley. Now that we have become adults, we can honestly say that we are who we are today because of him and the life lessons he taught us.

Unfortunately, as his children, we unexpectedly find ourselves in a position to become his protectors earlier than anticipated.

On June 9th of this year, we received the news that he has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. As you can imagine, our lives have been turned upside down. Witnessing our father endure unprecedented pain and struggle to sit or walk for long periods of time has caused us great pain and feelings of helplessness.

He is scheduled to start chemotherapy in the next couple of weeks, and due to his deteriorating condition, he has already been out of work for weeks. Without any income or disability benefits, we are facing upcoming bills, not to mention the medical expenses. The cost of chemotherapy alone is a staggering $11,000.

We kindly request you to find it in your heart to help us treat and heal my father, and to provide him with the peace of mind that his duty as a protector and provider will be taken care of while he rests and recovers.

Our goal is to raise $30,000, and any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
