Hello everyone, meet Charlotte (1lb. 1oz.) and Cecilia (2lbs. 11oz.)! Born February 27th at 30 weeks premature after it was discovered the girls stopped growing at 23 weeks gestational. These strong little girls have endured countless events after being in the hospital for close to three months. Sister Cecilia was able to go home about a month ago, and unfortunately, Charlotte had more to her journey, which included 3 blood transfusions to help oxygenate her body.
It has come time that it’s recommended Charlotte finally come home, but she will have to be discharged with oxygen until she is able to breathe fully by herself. We are grateful to finally have her come home but are needing a little bit of help financially to get stabilized as we need to keep a close eye on her with her monitor and oxygen machine, so we decided to stay home with them for the time being. On top of that, we made the decision to move to Wichita from Dodge City due to all of the specialists that our daughters will have to see for the beginning of their lives.
We greatly appreciate the help from you guys, and may God bless you tenfold for donating to our sweet little girls. Thank you for taking the time to hear the story of our little blessings, and may y’all have a blessed day!
