Hell everyone, my name is Priscila M Perez and I’m writing to you today with a heavy heart to share some difficult news about my mom Elizabeth Skubski-Felley.

In July my mom had and unexpected visit to the emergency room with pain in her rib cage and was diagnosed with a 33cm malignant tumor in her right ovary. She had surgery to remove it on July 7th, 2025 and 2 1/2 hr procedure lasted almost 6 hours due to complications while in surgery and diagnosed with stage 2B ovarian cancer. This has been so devastating to our family and we’re still trying to process the news

About my mom: For those of you who don’t know my mom, she’s very caring, loving, compassionate and giving person, who has always put other before herself. She has an incredible spirit, and we are determined to fight this battle alongside her. My mom is a warrior who never gives up.

Our challenge: She is no longer able to work and the financial burden of her medical treatment is overwhelming while fighting an appeal is in progress with the state of California (for disability insurance) She’s facing a long road ahead, possibly another surgery and 4 more chemo therapy and radiation.

Our biggest wish is for her to focus on her health and recovery, her body is having a hard time with the chemo she is being given, which is a high amount.

How the funds should be used:

•Medical expenses and hospital bills

•Chemotherapy, radiation and medications

•Living expenses, rent , utilities, groceries while she’s unable to work

•Hair coverings, beanies, bandanas and wigs after she started losing her hair after her first chemo session
