As many of you already know Auntie Kathleen has been living in Senior Homes since approximately January 2020, just before the pandemic. Due to some unfortunate financial circumstances she has had much financial loss.

Thankfully with the unbelievable love, care and devoted attention from her BFF Maureen Uribe ( McGuigan/Gilliland) Kathleen has been able to stay afloat financially with the selling of her properties, some belongings and investments yet, even that has depleted as personal care is very expensive. Kathleen needs around the clock care. She is completely immobile except for eating and chatting. She still has her sense of humour but her dementia exceeds it.

With all that said each and every one of us have had Kathleen have our backs at some point. Whether it be for a place to stay, a trip to go on, or putting us in contact with somebody that helped each and every one of us move forward.

We are creating this GoFundMe to assist her financially until her public assistance is approved and kicks in.

We were recently able to move her to a facility in Redwood City, California that accepts residence that need additional care and financial assistance.

As of now her monthly fees are $6,000. We are desperately hoping they can expedite FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM but until then we do not want her to be asked to leave. These last few months family members have covered her finances but we feel since Kathleen was so helpful to us ALL, ALL of us could pitch in a bit to keep her safe, comfortable and content.

Please assist however you can, every little bit will help. We will keep this afloat as long as we need to until Financial Assistance is approved.
