hi everyone:)),
We’re a newly married couple trying to stay together in Canada while navigating the immigration process and life’s challenges. My wife came here on a visitor visa so we could be together during our Outland spousal sponsorship application — but now we’re facing the emotional and financial pressure of trying to stay strong and stable while she’s not allowed to work, and I do my best to support us both.
We’ve been doing everything we can to make this work — budgeting every dollar, staying positive through all the unknowns, and holding onto the belief that love should never be limited by borders. But between government fees, rent, groceries, and the stress of living on one income, we’re starting to fall a little bit behind.
We are also planning to travel to New Zealand to visit her family and recharge — but we’re anxious about the cost and whether we can afford to return home together. Every step forward has been filled with uncertainty, and we’re doing our best to keep our hearts open and heads up.
We’re asking for help — something we never imagined doing — because this is about love, safety, and building a life we both believe in.
If you can give, even a little, it would mean the world. If you can’t, sharing this would be an incredible kindness.
Your support helps us:
• Cover government application and visa extension fees
• Pay for essential living costs while we’re in limbo
• Afford the trip to New Zealand and return
• Keep fighting for a future we know we deserve together
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for reading, for caring, and for believing in the power of love to overcome distance and difficulty.
Your help would mean the world to us. <3
With love and gratitude,
Heaven & Mihi Loewen-Turner
