I wanted to start this go fund me to help support my best friend lorraine jim & the boys with expenses while they are going through this tough time .. For those who do not know Jimmy's story let me start at the beginning.Jimmy was born at 29weeks, he had many medical issues. His airway did not develop enough so was very narrow. He had cysts on his brain, he had a hole in his heart as well as an open valve that was bleeding into his lungs which caused them to collapse and now has chronic lung disease. He came home at 8 weeks old and at 10weeks his heart stopped at home. It took his mum 12minutes CPR to revive Jimmy. He returned to hospital. He was having surgery every 4 weeks to stretch his airway until eventually having a tracheostomy put in at 7months old. After spending a year in Evalina children's hospital he returned home needing 24hr care. Jimmy finally had his tracheostomy removed July 2025. As a family they breathed a sigh of relief! He had overcome it all. Unfortunately after being very sick since Christmas on Tuesday 20th January 2026 they were given the devastating news that Jimmy had 2 brain tumors. He has undergone 3 brain surgerys since then one lasting 11hours to remove as much as they can they was then given the devastating news that the csncer has spread to Jimmy's spine.He will be going to The Royal Marsden hospital to start chemotherapy and then UCLH for radiotherapy and will be living away from home for at least a year i just want to take some of the pressure off of them during this difficult time ... I want to thank every one on behalf of not just myself but all of the family also for all your love and support during this time.
