Our little super star gianna

Hi everyone I hope yous can spare a few minutes to read & raise awareness for all the baby’s/children in the cardolgist ward 1E in Qe for sick kids . I would of been none the wiser to this amazing ward if it wasent for my little girl gianna! So here goes ..

As most of yous are aware gianna was in ICU when she was born regarding her breathing and after a few tests and scans we found out she had a heart mumor and also her PDA (duct was still open to infection) so they gave gianna 6 weeks for it to close on its on but it never did snd within they 6 weeks she had to go to the hosp twice in the ambulance & got atmitted for a few days and we got told we where just to wait for the cardiologist app witch I knew we couldn’t wait for as gianna was slacking in bottles taking upto 1hour 30mins just to take a bottle and getting out of breath really fast then falling asleep but we just thought cause so many docs/nurses had reviewed gianna that it wasent as bad as what we thought & god where we wrong ALL TRUST YOUR MOTHERLY INSINTICS ‍♀️ Had a check up appointment on the 24th of last month at the royal to see Giannas progress and her weight was deteriorating and she wasent moving up the ladder so they phoned the cardiologist ward and we got attmitted straight away and we have been here since!! We then found out gianna had a hole in heart and a mumor witch was causing this vicious circle of illnesses, the doctors had a meeting to decide if she needed the key hole surgery the now or she could wait then we got told the news that she would need open hesrt surgery that she got on the 9/3/22 closing off her PDA & ASD and their was no complications and she sailed through it , spent 2 days in ICU and is now back in her own ward in recovery & taking each day as it comes!! The strength this lady little had shown considering the things she’s endured makes my hesrt burst the doctors & nurses also can’t believe how much she has bounced back , the only route now is the road the recovery I’m gonna be raising money for the amazing staff at ward 1E that day in day out never fail to amaze me , the care they give to not just the kids but us as parents is beyond words & also for the baby’s /kids in the ward that are none the wiser to the strength they actaully have ,I hope everyone can come together and bring some smiles to these kids faces , the real super hero’s! 

Being a parent is hard enough without being one when your baby’s really purely & I was so lucky to have the support around me so I’m raising funds to help all the amazing people in their
