Our homoeopathy battle bus - Boddica - needs you!

I'm helping Travelling Homoeopaths Collective (THC) raise much needed funds to take up to 20 volunteer homoeopaths to festivals up and down the country during 2025.

THC is made up of a group of professional homeopaths providing assistance to visitors at outdoor events, festivals (including Glastonbury) and other public gatherings.

Wherever we go we set up a drop in clinic and carry out treatments on a donation, or free basis, to people in need.

We also give homoeopathic advice and refer all those who attend our mobile clinic to homoeopaths in their area.

The reason we are appealing to you this year particularly is because our battle bus - Boddica - is on her last legs. She is integral to our attendance at festivals.

Boddica is our work beast carrying all the equipment necessary to set up at an event and once set up she has a number of solar panels on the roof that charge up a large bank of batteries in the boot. This allows us to light up the marquee and enables us to operate longer hours as we can actually see the print in our repertoires!

When out on the road she makes people honk their horns flash their lights and wave to us. She has become an iconic figure on the festival circuit. A crowd puller and as she is photogenic as a result a photo shoot opportunity.

We have our logo and contact details on the back end of her and also on her side door promoting homoeopathy when we are out and about.

Last year she underwent a large restoration to part of her wooden frame and the interior, but alas there is a little more needed to make good here as well as a desperate need of being repainted and hence our call for funds.

There are so few of these buses left on the road, last count was less than 20 of varying designs.

We have a target of £5,000 to get her battle ready for this year but ultimately our goal is £15,000 make her last for another 60 years!
