I'm Daniel, a decades-long friend of a Palestinian Bedouin family from Gaza that desperately needs help. Please, read their story:
My name is Maha Nazme Al-Jaraba, and I’m writing this from the center of the Gaza Strip. I live with my big family more than twenty of us, including my parents, siblings, and their children. Since the war began, our lives have been turned upside down. In January 2024, our home was completely destroyed, and we lost everything.
Thankfully, we were able to find a temporary shelter, but life is still extremely difficult. The biggest challenge we face now is the lack of food, clean water, and money. Every single day is a fight to meet the most basic needs. We often sleep hungry, and even the water we drink is not always safe. We don’t have the money to buy food, and most of the time, there is nothing available to buy anyway.
Living in Gaza right now is very harsh. The destruction, the hunger, and the fear have become part of our daily life. The sounds of war, the lack of resources, and the deep uncertainty have left us all physically and emotionally exhausted. We are trying to survive.
If you are reading this, please consider helping us in getting food, clean water, and basic supplies for my family. Your support could mean the difference between hunger and hope. Please don’t look away. We are counting on the kindness of people like you. Any donation, no matter how small, will help us. The money will reach us through international wire transfer.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
For traditional reasons, I cannot show pictures of myself, but here you see what is left of our house.
