My name is Manar Abdelaal, I left Gaza in 2005. I now live with my husband and my kids in England but my family, my 8 brothers and sisters and their children still live in the Gaza Strip. They've lived through many wars but none like this. They're living under apartheid and relentless bombing with little to no food and water. Half of them have been forced to leave their homes in the North to flee to the South where it has been said to be safe but there is no such thing as a safe place in Gaza now. All of their homes have been completely reduced to rubble and some of them have pitched tents on the remnants of their homes, others live in schools. They've been displaced so many times in the last 7 months. We've lost so many relative, my uncles, my cousins, their kids and so many more have been injured in strikes. Can you imagine to have kids who ask you for food, water, a warm place to sleep but you can't even provide them with the basic human necessities? They need our help. Donations will be used to help them to rebuild their homes after the conflict, to buy food and to live like any other human being. My sister in law has sustained a spinal injury due to the war, she has had to travel with her children to Egypt for treatment but her husband, my brother, couldn't travel with them because he doesn't the money to be allowed into Egypt, which is £5000. The food there is now incredibly expensive, imagine buying a kilo bag of flour for £10, 85p in ASDA, they've been grinding animal feed to use as a flour alternative to make bread. And this is only beginning to describe their situation. Any donation will be eternally appreciated. Thank you.
