Wayne and his Family need your help in his recovery at home.

UPDATE ON WAYNE’S PROGRESS

Thank you to everyone who has donated. This had helped Wayne and his family massively.

Wayne’s now at home and continues to recover from the strokes that he had. Wayne’s progress is slow but each week shows slight improvement and movement in both his right arm and leg. There’s a long road ahead but with our help this can help Wayne make even more progress.

Wayne is in desperate need of specialist equipment to aid his recovery so please donate what you can. Every little counts. Your donations so far have been amazing, please can we now kindly ask that reach out to our trade union branches and ask for donations. Wayne is a great trade unionist, activist and organiser and we want to help our friend and his family at this difficult time. Thank you.

My name is Ben and I work with Wayne Wright at Unite the union. Wayne has sadly suffered a stroke leaving him seriously ill in hospital. He now faces a long road to recovery. If anyone can fight and push through this long process then our friend Wayne can. Our close team at work want to help Wayne and his family during his recovery. Please help Wayne and his family however you can. We want to help them with daily travel costs and everyday expenses to and from the hospital.
