Last year, there were 53,047 knife-related offences in England and Wales. A single deep wound can cause fatal blood loss in as little as three minutes — faster than any ambulance can arrive.
My name is Sienna Ahir. At 16, I’ve witnessed how knife crime devastates lives in my city. I decided to take action and founded Daggers Down, a youth-led anti-knife crime campaign, to turn pain into action.
Now, I am taking on a sprint triathlon- running 5K, swimming and cycling 20K to place bleed control kits in hotspots of violent crime in Wolverhampton. Every step, and every donation counts towards our target of safer streets and empowered young people.
Every £67 buys one kit.
Just £5 could help save a life.
These kits aren’t only for knife crime — they can save anyone with catastrophic bleeding, from road accidents to serious falls. They bridge the gap between injury and emergency care, giving victims a fighting chance.
We’re partnering with Turtle Engineering Ltd, supported by the Daniel Baird Foundation and the VRP's My Tomorrow campaign to make this happen.
Your donation could be the reason someone sees tomorrow. Please give what you can. Thank you :)
