Introduction:

Hi, my name is Lisa, and I’m a proud mum to three beautiful children: Mary, Isabellah, and Lloyd. Our family is facing a heartbreaking situation — we are at risk of homelessness after being told that our lease will not be renewed due to property maintenance issues. With no stable housing lined up and nowhere else to turn, I am reaching out for help to keep our family safe, together, and close to the support services and school that have been life-changing for my children.

Our Story:

Who We Are

I am a full-time carer and mother to three children who each face significant health and developmental challenges.

All three have ADHD, global developmental delay, and intellectual disabilities.

Mary and Isabellah also live with kidney disease, mild deafness in both ears, and autism.

Mary has also been diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder affecting the nervous system.

Despite everything they face, my children are thriving in their special education support school, where they have built friendships, feel safe, and are making incredible progress.

What Happened

Recently, we were informed that the owner of our rental property will not be renewing our lease due to the need for urgent maintenance. Finding a new home in the current rental market is incredibly difficult, especially with our medical and disability needs.

Why We Need Help

We urgently need to secure stable, appropriate housing that will allow us to stay close to:

The children's special school (where they are settled and supported)

Their ongoing hospital appointments

Speech therapy and occupational therapy services that visit our home

Without help, we risk not only becoming homeless but also having to move far away from the vital services and community that support my children's growth and health.
