Our family needs your help during Jake’s recovery.
Donation protected
On Wednesday, July 2nd, Jake was involved in a plane crash. Thankfully, every soul on board survived. Jake has some bumps and bruises and is ultimately okay, but he needs to have hip surgery and will not be able to work during his recovery.
Unfortunately, we are not prepared financially for a situation like this and are asking for help.
Any funds that are donated will be going to our rent, utilities, bills, food, and other items needed for our boys and the household.
If you are able to donate anything, even just a dollar, it will help us. I know life can be difficult financially, so if donating monetarily is not what you can do but you would still like to help, any pantry or household items you may not be needing, we will graciously take. Also, Jake and I have enjoyed selling items online. If there are any gently used items that you have that you are planning to give to a donation center or throw out, we would be happy to take them from you as well. (We are thinking this could possibly be something Jake can partake in to help bring in money while he is on the mend.)
To those of you who donate, we send to you our utmost gratitude and love. For those of you who cannot, it is absolutely okay and we understand completely.
And a final, most heartfelt thank you to the family who have already helped out tremendously. To the friends and strangers who have shared kind words and prayers. To the first responders and medical staff that not only provided care at the initial crash site but throughout the physical healing journey at the hospitals. To the pilot, the fellow skydivers, the owners, and countless others. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It means the world to us and we will be forever grateful.
