My husband is a very hard working man who’s been out of work for the past two months, he got a new job and almost has his first week down.

I get a little help from the government. But it’s simply not enough. My oldest son Conner (15yrs) has autism level 3, which means I still have to help him brush his teeth, take a bath, and

Is non verbal. He’s my sweet boy. Our other two Cloey (12) and Mark (8) are in the middle of needing dental help. We are about 1200 behind on our Cloey’s braces :( and will be needing to get marks braces started in May which right off the bat is a little over $600 for the first installment. We also found out today he has astigmatism and requires glasses, thank goodness Medicaid covers those.

I haven’t worked in 11 years. I have been a homemaker and this is the first time I’ve thought about a job, even tho I’m 5 months pregnant I’m trying to rack my brain to figure out what I can even do. What I do know is my children need me. I feel lost not being able to help more.

We live in a single wide trailer with 3 bedrooms. No, it’s not enough room at all. It was supposed to be temporary. We are cramped to say the least. We are constantly dreaming of better weather so we can go outside and stretch our legs, but that’s difficult in Michigan, summer can’t get here fast enough. Honestly we try very much to make the best of what we got for our children and we try and spoil them. Like most parents do. We want so much more for them than we ever had. I’ve never done anything like this before and don’t know what I’m doing. I just know I can’t wait any longer. We are about to start having things get cut off like internet and car insurance. May husband may loose his vehicle to the bank. And I’m positive before the month is over we will get a warning letter from our park telling us to pay or vacate. We’ve done well living here for the past 8 years. We’re not the kind of people who just let this happen. But it did and here we are and it’s breaks my heart.

we are definitely in need of help financially and if anyone can help we’d be more than appreciative.

we moved here to michigan from Memphis 10 years ago to get help for our autistic son, and hopefully have a better life. We’ve definitely been blessed with great schools, doctors, and community. For that I’m am so thankful. In saying that, we don’t know anyone here, except for my wonderful mother-n-law, with whose generosity we’ve had groceries and gas for the past three weeks at least. And a couple of mom friends who help keep me sane. I battle depression on a regular. It’s tough to say the least. My mother passed away two years ago, these days I’d give anything to hear her voice. Life can be so tough.

we have dreams and ambitions of one day having a house big enough for all of us and land to grow on. The American family dream. To have a comfortable life. We come from nothing and work with what we have. We live paycheck to paycheck. We just need a little help getting back on track. Please and thank you to anyone who can spare anything to help.
