The Mission: From our Hearts to the World
As a couple united by a shared passion for making a difference, we've been on a heartfelt journey for many years. Ethan dedicates his life to permaculture and community, while Natasha has devoted her life to humanitarian work. Together, our commitment to positive change is unwavering.
Together, we're creating a brighter future through our love for each other, dedication to our work, and incredible support from our developing partners and donors. We remain grounded in our grassroots beginnings and the powerful change that can be created when we work hand-in-hand with the communities we serve.
About Our Earth Prayer:
Our Earth Prayer is an organization with three core focuses. Firstly, we strive to support individuals and communities during life's most challenging moments, providing solace and comfort when lightning strikes. Secondly, we are dedicated to promoting reforestation and food sovereignty, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come. Lastly, our organization aims to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the interconnectedness between humans and the natural world, instilling a sense of reciprocity and harmony with all living beings. Through our work, we want to create positive change, empower communities, and nurture the sacred bond between humanity and the earth.
Project 1: The Chaya Revolution
The Mission: Communities in Reciprocity with the Earth
We provide plants, seeds, and permaculture education to support local communities in achieving food sovereignty. Our permaculture blueprint can be adapted to various regions, ensuring our mission's impact extends beyond the Sierra Nevada, Colombia. We collaborate with indigenous communities on reforestation projects.
The Chaya Revolution Solution
Chaya is a remarkable tree with nutrient-rich greens that offers a promising solution to address malnutrition and food insecurity. Our farm network in Colombia is leading the charge in promoting edible and medicinal plant cultivation, empowering communities with the tools and resources they need to establish long-lasting food independence. By sharing our knowledge, resources, and permaculture blueprint, we aim to create a sustainable and adaptable model that can be implemented in various regions around the world, fostering food sovereignty and environmental resilience on a global scale.
Project 2: Earth Angels
Homebase: Seattle, Washington
The Mission: Angels step in to help people in a survival state, providing emotional support and material aid.
Who are the Angels?
* Individuals trained to care for people in crisis.
* Angels are trained as Mental Health First Aid Responders. Additionally, they have training in conflict resolution, self-care, mindfulness, and self-awareness.
* Angels receive money each month to support people in crisis.
What do the Angels do?
When we see someone in distress, we walk towards them instead of turning away. We strive to help them get back on their feet by providing emotional and physical support.
How will your gift help us achieve our goals?
As we establish our non-profit status, secure legal advice, train more Earth Angels, and initiate grant writing, your contributions enable us to move forward and make a lasting impact. Your donation will train more Earth Angels, provide educational events, aid in distributing plants and food, and establish more nurseries.
