Our dreams are under the rubble

My name is Anas Ibrahim. I am 22 years old. I graduated from the College of Engineering before the war and entered the workforce. I have only worked for a month and my dream is to work for a longer period of time and share my work with my father, the engineer, had not been able to reduce his workload.

We are a family of 8, three girls and five boys

We bought our new house, which we wanted for years, and we bought all new furniture, which cost us a very large amount of money

Just a few days before the war, we lived there for a week, and then the war broke out and we were displaced about five times, miraculously escaping death each time.

Now my family and I live in a tent in the south of the Gaza Strip, threatened by poverty, hunger and fear of the unknown

I need a very large sum of money to save our souls from certain death at any time

One of the coordination companies asked me five thousand dollars per person to leave the Gaza Strip

The equivalent of $40,000 for me and my family to get out and get to safety
