Hi! My name is Anjeshni NAND and I’m fundraising for my Dear uncle(mama), Mr Rakesh Chandra (Bobby) who is a well known and a respected figure in our Fijian community. He is known far and wide for his soulful renditions of lokgeet, bhajans and traditional farewell songs. His voice has echoed in countless homes during weddings and funerals- offering both joy and solace, always from the heart and often at no cost.

He is a voice of heritage, preserving traditions and honouring the legacies of our ancestors through songs.

Today, Mr Bobby is in urgent need of our help. He has been diagnosed with a serious spinal condition-L4/L5 Radiculopathy, which causes immerse pain, numbness and difficulty walking. He requires immediate spinal surgery to prevent further deterioration, regain mobility and quality of life.

This is more than a fundraiser. It’s an opportunity to support a man who has given his voice, time and heart to uphold our culture. Let’s return that love- with action. Together, we can help him stand again- strong and pain-free. Every contribution big or small, is a step towards his healing.
