There are points in life when the "unthinkable" happens and sadly, when it comes to cancer, the "unthinkable" has happened to many of our loved ones throughout the years. Unfortunately, it has again. Very recently, we have been informed about the serious cancer diagnosis of our dear friend and clubmate, Nick Phillips. The Långholmen FC family is so sad to hear this news we are thinking about him, his family and friends - many of whom are part of the club and have been for many years.

We thought long and hard as to whether to fundraise for Nick or for Cancer research in his name, but on this occasion, we have decided that we would do it for him. We know we are not going to raise millions, and honestly, that's not even the point. The point this time is to make some contribution, symbolic or otherwise, to Nick and his family to let them know that even though he hasn't been with us here in Sweden for a while, he is most certainly not forgotten and the love, friendship and comradery that we shared then is still with us now

So... even though we know times are tough, we would be delighted if you would consider making a contribution( of any size) to this fund which will go to Nick and his family in this most difficult of circumstances.

We haven't given up hope, nor will we, but we want to act now to show all the love we can.
