***update 21st May 2025**

Whilst having traveled by road, to Uluru early January, and return it was an incredible experience to get Pappy there. Thanking each and everyone of you.

Pappy, Annie & family have had the devastating news of a recurrence, in April.
Treatment was no longer working, so the brain cancer (Glioblastoma Multiform) has gained some momentum. Growing into other parts of his brain, causing swelling, speech & communication problems, blurred vision, and other declining physical defects, associated with terminal brain cancer.

As a last ditch resort, oncologists have started a different IV treatment called Bevacizumab. Or Avastin, every 21 days.

This will hopefully buy us all some more time, together with Dad. Hopefully some more time on the road with some travels, if he is able.
It will allow Annie (sole trader) to have time away from work for Dads medical appointments, and some of what time is left, with Dad.
In the event of Dads passing, time for Mum, Annie, to grieve without the worry of finances for a small time, and help cover funeral costs. ❤
We really appreciate everyone whom have helped. thank you.

**Update 31st July 2024**

Unfortunately, Dad/Pappy received the devastating news from a biopsy of his brain tumour that they removed that he has stage 4 brain cancer (Glioblastoma brain tumour) with only 12 to 18 months life expectancy with radiation for life prolonging treatment. As you can imagine this news has been both devastating to our Dad and my family.

With this news that we have been given it has meant that they have needed to rescind on the loan for their new home and have two weeks to move out.

Annie, Dad and all us kids have also spoken about the plans for the next 12 months together. Despite wanting to spend as much time with his family as possible his dream is to be able to go and see Uluru and drive the Great Ocean Road and hopefully, they can make this happen once they have been able to find a new home and become settled.

We have been incredibly grateful for the donations that we have already received, and this money was used while Dad received care in Newcastle and had part of his brain tumour removed as well as for general costs of living.

Dad is usually not one to ask for financial support but many of those who are aware have reached out and asked how they can help, (other than your love, and prayers which he is also grateful for) is to donate to the gofund me page so he can make it to Uluru and drive the great ocean road without needing to worry about the financial impact this will leave Annie when he leaves.

We thank everybody who has donated so far. Dad is still fighting and will continue to fight the good fight!

**July 19th 2024**

Our dad has just been diagnosed with a brain tumour that the doctors have said is cancerous, and our family is facing a tough journey ahead.

Unfortunately due to living rural his local hospital (Manning Base Hospital in Taree) is not able to provide the treatment that he needs to fight his tumour and he is required to travel to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle and become an in-paitent for the foreseeable future.

As the primary breadwinner, and the need for Annie (Mum) to be with him while he undergoes his treatment, as well as the distance from home being almost 3 hours travel his illness has left our parents in a challenging financial situation.

We are asking for your help to assist financially so we can remove the burden of having to find funds to cover the cost of their living expenses, medical expenses and accommodation for Annie in Newcastle.

Any support you can provide will be deeply appreciated.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
