A promise made, a promise kept. Giving is living.

Carepath Supported Living, Advanced Home Services, and The Barbetory have come together to raise awareness for cancer and contribute directly to Cancer Council Australia and its vital research programs. One hundred percent of all proceeds raised through this initiative will be donated to support their ongoing work.

Six months ago, Joel made a promise to a participant we proudly support through in home services and support needs. When the time came for her to shave her head due to chemotherapy, he promised he would stand beside her and do the same as a show of solidarity and support.

A week ago, we received the heartbreaking call that this moment had arrived. Our participant had shaved her head, and we knew that promise had to be honoured. Through the support of The Barbetory, we were able to bring this moment to life and turn it into something meaningful for a much bigger cause.

We are incredibly proud of the community we have built and the industries we operate in, but above all, we are passionate about giving back and showing up fully for the people around us. These are battles often fought in silence, battles that would test even the strongest souls. Yet every day we are met with courage, laughter, positivity, and a strength that never fails to inspire us.

To witness this resilience firsthand is a privilege. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of those we support, and for the caring, dedicated teams we get to work alongside every single day.

We truly believe that continued research is the key to finding a cure. As a community, if we can come together and make an impact, no matter how big or small, that is all we ever set out to do.

We are kicking this initiative off with a $1,000 donation, with one hundred percent of all proceeds going directly to support cancer research. A video capturing this moment is now live across our social media channels.
