we, as the owners of The Belair, want to pay forward, the Belmont community, which desperately needs all the help it can get at this moment.
The BelAir has always been an Intercal part of the Belmont community in supporting local staff and trades people, restaurant, and food services
it will be days, maybe weeks before infrastructure is reinstated i.e., electricity, cell phones. I even recall the last hurricane vendors were extorting ice for $10 for a quarter of a bag. Food will be scarce if any, we would love an opportunity to provide funds to people who have played an interval part in building our villa. Most of our staff has very young children or very elderly adults that must be attended to. We have done so much on our own already but could certainly use as much help as possible. Those of us that are in a fortunate position to help financially, I can guarantee you that every penny will go to those that really need it. Some of our community have lost their roofs and their homes. with HOME’s flooding, these families must find or seek other accommodation. The Belair can be used as a temporary shelter for many people, but again we will need funds to support This.
please help all you can as the Belmont community in Jamaica, has suffered long enough
