Hello-my name is Erica. I am a single mother pleading for support to help rebuild the lives of my children and myself. In January of 2022 I lost my oldest son to an unexpected and unexplained heart attack. My youngest son also has autism and extra needs that are more difficult and important due to the our current circumstances. At this time I am seeking community support to assist with relocation expenses as we are in need of stable housing due to safety concerns.I am also seeking support for attorney assistance for family law, an independent autopsy for my son, as well as for a private investigator .As of now I have been unable to get law enforcement to assist me with anything surrounding the mysterious circumstances of my son .I am also suffering from health issues that I am unable to continue to pay for out of pocket and am in constant pain due to underlying health problems I am unable to afford at this time. Always being the one to work and support my family, I have worked since I was 16, this is the most devastating experience I’ve ever been through and I am finding it hard to just keep moving forward at this time. I am an active member in my community, an activist for children and mothers especially. Understanding the importance of the health and well being of the mother in order to care for her children is important. And at this moment, I am leaning on my community as I regain my footing to continue this process.
