Hey everyone! I’m sure you’ve seen that Kyle and I welcomed our sweet baby girl Payson to our Family February 26th @12:55am. Payson and I are both doing well, trying to recover from my surgery and spending time with each other before she goes in for her open heart surgery soon at PCH. I went into labor unexpectedly Sunday February 25th around 7pm and we headed to the hospital not knowing if this was the real deal. It was! This whole pregnancy I planned to have a medicated vaginal birth but ig something’s don’t always go according to plan. When I got to the hospital I was already dilated to 5cm and my water had just broke when one of the nurses had checked me. I was in so much pain, just waiting for my epidural. The nurses were all freaking out because Payson’s heart was dropping incredibly low whenever I had a contraction so they quickly decided that I needed to do this another way. Having a c section was the safest option. I was pretty much in shock at this point but just wanted her to be safe so I just kept saying “I don’t care what it takes, just make sure she’s safe”. During the c section I threw up all over Kyle and one of my nurses from some of the medicine I had to take but about 20mins later I heard Payson cry and was so happy she was ok. They immediately transferred Payson over to the NICU to be on some medicine and Kyle got to stay with her through all that. I had to recover for about two hours before really meeting my baby girl. The joy of my life for sure. Our little family is everything I could ever want in life. Kyle and I are so in love with this little girl, she truly is so precious. The next day February 27th @10am Payson was transferred over to PCH to start planning her open heart surgery. The doctors are saying because I had a c section that staying another night is probably the best option but they are also letting me choose if I’d like to get discharged today to be with my baby over at her hospital. This recovery is a lot harder then I expected it to be but all I want is to be with my babygirl. These hard decisions are killing me. I’m making this gofundme because Kyle and I aren’t working during these times obviously to be with our babygirl but also so I can recover from my surgery and be their when Payson has to recover from her surgery. We still have lots of bills to pay and lots of driving around to do to get to all our hospitals and doctors appointments. We aren’t getting PTO so we’d appreciate all the help we can get. We also want to thank everyone for being so kind and caring, we can’t wait to share more of our little family with everyone. We will take all the prayers we can get for myself to recover smoothly and for Paysons open heart surgery to be successful and for her recovery to go smooth as well. Thank you again!
