Our beloved friend Brigid Darby-Ryan

Some of you will be aware that our beautiful Brigid had a fall from her bike during the summer holidays. Unfortunately, this resulted in a break to her collarbone. After a short spell at home and further check ups, the decision was made to operate as her bones were not healing as they should. Sadly and unexpectedly there were complications during surgery and Brigid was subsequently moved to Brighton hospital where she remains stable but very poorly and has a long road to recovery ahead of her. We understand that this will come as a shock to you all and it may take a while for you to get your heads around it as it has us. We've all been left feeling utterly helpless which is why a few of us have come together on behalf of all Brigid and Glenns many friends to create this fundraising page. Our hope is to help take some of the financial pressure off of Glenn whilst he is unable to work to cover the cost of rent, bills,  anything Brigid may need to aid her recovery and things the children may need to get them through this uncertain time and to allow him to concentrate solely on Brigid and his children.  If you feel that you are able to donate your generosity will mean a great deal and we thank you all in advance. If you are not in a position to donate please don't feel disheartened.  Instead, you can help by sharing this page so that we can reach as many people as possible.  Finally, please may we ask for any contact with Brigid's family, especially Glenn, to be only positive and to be kept to a minimum. Please bare in mind that it may be unrealistic for him to reply to messages, however, im sure we can speak on his behalf and say that everyone's love and support will continue to give him the hope and strength that he needs at this time.
