Our 4th family of a single mum with 2 children

Home is the place where we feel safe. I have never really felt that. As a kid I used to sneak out of the house to escape my alcoholic father and then later I found ways to escape and never settled anywhere. I thought all that would change when I found a partner and had kids. But it didn't. It took a big wake up call during the pandemic to recognise I still didn't feel safe. Leaving my ex while I had just had a baby during a pandemic when I was about to launch my business genuinely took all the courage I had. But I am so committed to having a home full of love and kindness for me and my children. I was stuck in a rent trap paying rent for a property with no garden or outdoor space for my kids to run around in but unable to move as I couldn't afford anywhere else near to my kids school. I can't believe how lucky I am to have found Nirvana Investors and to be able to be moving into our family home with garden space surrounded by nature. In order to make this house a home I would really like a washing machine, a table & chairs now I have space for them! a sofa and I am sure once I move in other things that I haven't even thought of yet. I really appreciate any donation given, myself and my children are truly grateful.
