Help Us Make a Splash on Our Honeymoon

As we start this next chapter together, we’ve been dreaming about celebrating our union with a honeymoon that’s uniquely us — and at the top of that list is a river otter experience at Blue Hills Ranch (see for yourself: https://www.bluehillsranch.com/tours).

You might ask: “Why otters?” Since we met, these little guys have been a recurring source of happiness for us. Playful, curious, and a little mischievous — we often see ourselves in them. For our engagement last year, we had a similar experience at an aquarium where we got to interact with and feed otters, but I felt that still wasn’t enough to truly show Anika how much I care. So, when Facebook started bombarding me with pictures of Blue Hills Ranch and their Otter Playtime & Feeding event, I knew it would be the perfect way to make a memory together and celebrate the joy of marriage.

In lieu of a traditional ceremony, we’ll be having a small, personal event for ourselves. We know many of you would love to attend and share the moment, but with our families spread far and wide, we decided to keep the ceremony intimate — and instead invite those who wish to support us to do so here.

We aren’t expecting gifts, but for those who’ve asked how they can help, Anika and I have set up this page to make it easier for friends and family to contribute toward making that dream a reality — and maybe a few otter adventures along the way.
