Oscar and Willem When You Wish Upon a Star

Hello,

As most of you may already know, our twin nine-year-old boys Oscar and Willem were diagnosed this year with a rare genetic disorder called Wilson’s Disease. It has since changed all of our lives significantly, but most of all Oscar and Willem’s as they have been navigating very frequent and difficult medical procedures; on top of a wide variety of unpleasant medications and painful symptoms for the last 8 months. For the foreseeable future, this will be their new normal until we can get the disease under control. Our goal has always been to take them on a trip to Disney World, but now more than ever we would like to restore some of their lost childhood days with this trip to look forward to next winter. We are asking for you to use this page as a way to donate towards Disney World in place of monies that would otherwise be given as gifts or outings for their birthdays and holidays. We greatly appreciate any kind of support. We believe this page is a great way for family and friends to see how we are progressing toward our goal.
