Orphanage and Poor children KFKO NGO Siem Reap Cambodia

Hi, my name is Diana and I’m fundraising for a Orphans and Poor Children Organisation ( KHMER FOR KHMER ORGANIZATION KFKO). I’ve been travelling SE Asia and when I entered Cambodia nothing could’ve prepared me for what I would encounter. We’re in Siem Reap and in this Orphanage there are 28 kids living in 5 rooms. Mr Chon is the owner of the place and take (well) care of them.

All the children here are orphans, have been abandoned or their parents are from the interior of the country and can't afford to raise them. They've been left to fight for themselves and even though they’re amazing they deserve some help. Living conditions here are really heartbreaking and I started this fundraiser to try to help improve the lives of these children. They need food, medicines, hygiene products, clothes, school supplies and better living conditions on their home and unfortunately I can't do it alone. Since I came here, I've been spending my days here at the orphanage with the children, playing with them, teaching them English and buying some things, but it's difficult to help almost 30 children because the supermarket items here in Cambodia are expensive. I don't think it's fair to come to these countries just to take advantage of their beauty without trying to help in any way. We have to recognize our privilege and use it in the best way. I'm trying my best but I know that if you can help, the kids, Mr Chon and me will be forever grateful
