Our beloved father, Abdul Kadir, may Allah have mercy on his soul, passed away on 03/03/2021.

We as his children have decided to fundraise on his behalf for orphans in Africa. This charity will help provide education, clothing, shelter, food and clean water to these children’s lives.

Our Dad loved helping people when he was alive, whether it was a loved one or a poor person. He went above and beyond to ensure people were settled in their lives. 

The death of a parent leaves all children feeling somewhat vulnerable no matter how old they are. However, alhamdulillah we are very fortunate to have had our father in our lives for as long as Allah blessed us with. He left no stone unturned in our provision, education, love and shelter. Not everyone has the same qadr as us, so we pray our sadaqah reaches those who lost their parents at a much younger age.

This will be a legacy that will benefit all of us even after we die, as the orphan lives their life and their children and so on. 

Abu Huraira reported, the Prophet (saw) said: “When the human being dies, his deeds end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge and a righteous child who prays for him.” (Sahih Muslim)
