ORPHAN HEALTH & WELLBEING - by Children of Palestine

My name is Rizwan Shaik - medical doctor and humanitarian - currently supporting medical clinics to fill urgent needs of children in Gaza. We are working with Medical Teams in Central Gaza (Nuseirat Refugee Camp) comprising of doctors, nurses and aid workers. We are raising funds through this initiative and transfer funds through secure means to support this very important initiative for the Orphans in Palestine.

"Children of Palestine" initiative is a beacon of hope for the vulnerable victims of the ongoing crisis in Gaza. Our medical clinic in Central Gaza is actively involved in nurturing and developing the human aspects of children who have experienced loss of their parents, estimated 20,000+ children are orphans since October 2023.

We provide personalized care for Orphans with long-term medical issues to 50-75 Orphans in Nuseirat Refugee Camp.

PROJECT PLAN

Initial Goal - Onboard around 50-75 Orphans for long-term management of health and well being around Nuseirat Refugee Camp in Central Gaza. These initial group of 50-75 Orphans who are assessed will receive comprehensive care by our Medical team and Aid workers.

Project Milestones & Costs -

Phase 1: 50 orphans for SIX MONTHS

Phase 2: 100 orphans starting in October 2024

Monthly Cost to improve health and wellness with our Medical Teams consisting of Physicians, Nurses and Aid Workers - $70 per month per Orphan

Goal Setting:

Started with fulfilling medical needs for medications and health products for refugee camp inhabitants. As discussed, the inhabitants are internally displaced people in Gaza as a result of the Nakba and ongoing war since October 7, 2023.

Our Medical Teams on the ground led by Dr. Musallam Abu Khalil will be assessing the individual needs of Children in their Refugee Camps which currently has close to 30,000+ internally displaced refugees living in tents.

Assessment of Need: We require survey documentation to understand the need for medication supply, disease prevalence and presentations in the Medical Clinic. We should start by listing the most prevalent medical conditions presented in the clinic, and highlighted with the most urgent needs on the ground within the preliminary stage until July 2024.

Resource Evaluation: As with any project implementation, the essential information provided needs to be relevant to the community needs we are seeing. There are relevant funding measures in place through UNRWA. So we would need to understand the availability of resources from UNRWA and deficits can be fulfilled through this initiative.

Needs Prioritization: With the worsening situation, access to some medications and care assessments are higher in priority than others. This is primarily due to medical prognosis and long term care outlook for the entire community in need.

Public Relations: Staff involvement in journaling the clinic patients stories and outcomes is essential to this project impact. We anticipate sharing stories via photos, videos or text to get the word out with our Social Media. We also anticipate publishing weekly newsletters or video logs to assess the progress of this initiative.

Technology Application: Our technology application will bring donors and recipients much closer than ever before. This will create an engaging community channel to inform the assessments of Orphans to the guardians who donated for the cause. As we start with initial assessments, addressing routine medical concerns, and providing long term care modules to connect the patients with educational and counseling/therapy programs will become much easier.

Prophet David defeated Goliath and during his kingdom built his elevated chambers in Palestine and his son Prophet Solomon followed his legacy

Prophet Solomon was given the mightiest kingdom ever and ruled the entire world from the land of Palestine

Prophet Zekariah prayed for a child in old age, then Prophet John the Baptist was born in Palestine

Prophet Jesus was born in Bethlehem (Bayt Lahm), Palestine to Mary through miraculous birth - and spoke out from his cradle “I am indeed a servant slave of Allah, he has made me a noble messenger”

Prophet Moses was asked to just enter the land of muqaddasa and you will be granted victory - but died and is buried just outside Al Aqsa

Prophet Muhammad travelled to Al Aqsa by night in the miraculous night journey and ascension into Heaven (Miraj) from the land of Palestine

Only ONE place on Earth where EVERY Prophet descended from the heavens and prayed together with Prophet Muhammad as the leader/Imam was in Al Aqsa in the land of Palestine

Every Prophet has a very strong bond with this land of Peace - land of Palestine.
