An update from the Organic Krush team (4/19):
We're overwhelmed with joy from the support and number of contributions that our community has been making so that we can bring Krush love in the form of healthy organic food to fuel our Front Line Heroes. With all of our Give Back initiatives combined we have been able to donate 1,000 meals! And we aren't stopping anytime soon!! Thank you for your continued support!

Many members of the Organic Krush team have family members who work the front lines. Co-founders, Michelle & Fran, both have sisters that work at Northwell Health, and Michelle’s aunt has worked as a nurse for 30 years at NYU Winthrop Hospital. Michelle's twin sister and brother in law also work the front lines in Henrico, Virginia as a nurse and firefighter and our General Manager at our Short Pump, Virginia location has a brother in law working the ER at Henrico Doctors' Hospital. It's beyond inspiring to see all of the healthcare professionals' dedication to caring for others. It’s such a fragile time, and it’s a helpless time, for those of us watching from the sidelines. Food is love, and we hear the nurses and doctors are so happy to receive healthy organic food. If we can send a little bit of organic love everyday, to nurses and doctors, somewhere — It’s a small thing, but hopefully it helps everyone feel just a little bit better.
We started bringing lunches to different hospitals on Long Island and Richmond, Virginia as a way to not only show our support for the incredible healthcare professionals throughout the globe, but also to provide 100% organic, immune-boosting food & juice that can help keep our nurses, doctors, surgeons, caretakers, hospital staff, EMTs & ambulance drivers fueled and healthy. Then, a loyal guest approached us and asked if she could give a donation to help us continue to provide these meals to hospitals. We were taken aback, and so touched at this opportunity to extend our reach. We know many people would like to help our healthcare professionals, but don't always know how.
The average cost of one lunch we provide is $20. We bring wraps, cold-pressed juices, wellness shots and gluten-free baked goods. No donation is too small, and all proceeds go directly to making the next hospital lunch drop-off happen. We are so thankful & grateful for everyone's support and together as a community we can get through this.
