Ophelia’s Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Treatment
Donation protected
Yesterday our lives changed forever. Miss Ophelia hasn't been herself lately and had some testing done yesterday. While we had a feeling something wasn't right with her (maybe a weird virus or even covid), we were blindsided by the call from the pediatrician. She has been diagnosed with B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. We have been admitted to Blank Children's Hospital. Today we met our oncology team, who already began their planning to help our sweet girl. We are still in the early stages and we talk about treatment options in the coming days while trying to help Ophie understand what's ahead. The nurses, doctors and child life staff here have already spoiled her and although she is tired, she has been roaming the halls and playing. Curtis and I are so grateful for the support of our families and our friends who have already begun to help us navigate this nightmare. We can't thank you all enough for your support, listening ear and for future favors. We will update as we know more.
