Hi all my name is Christian,

I’m a veteran and I’d say unofficial keeper of my local community war memorial.

Myself and a group of fantastic volunteers look after our war memorial and garden with great honour and pride.

I’m looking to replace our local WW2 memorial lion which has stood proudly for 80 Years. I am looking to replace it with a new Lion monument which comes at a great cost.

Leo as I’m calling him has seen better days and is starting to fall to pieces.

some work has been done to repair him, but poorly over the years.

As it’s the run up to VE Day 80yrs I think it would be a fitting tribute to replace him.

Please help me to replace Leo.
