Operation Peru

One of our very own team members, Liz Koller is heading home to Peru to visit family and also lend help to those in needs. We are collecting donations to purchase coats and cold weather wear for the children and families in Peru to give them a fighting chance to survive the rigid climate. 

According to Chile's Ministry of Health (Minsa), 604 people died of pneumonia by June 20, 2018, due to low temperatures. That number included more than 400 older adults and 72 children under the age of 5. This year those numbers have increased and the living conditions have worsened. Since winter season is just beginning, low temperatures, snow and frost are expected to continue.

For every donation dollar received Stellar will match the donation dollar for dollar in efforts to purchase as many coats and cold weather wear and help protect as many lives as possible.  

If you are in the Tampa area, we are also accepting new and gently used coats, scarves, hats, gloves etc. 

We will be collecting donations until Saturday July 20th, 2019.

Every dollar counts and Stellar will match each dollar donated.
