Each year I help children and families in need have a happy holiday when they otherwise may not. I am reaching out to my network, friends, family and community in hopes you can join me in helping make a difference in the lives of a brother and sister in need this holiday season. The brother and sister came into my life after their mother had been deported to Mexico. They have come a long way this past year despite the painful separation from their mother and the hardships that followed.

Information about the brother and sister:

Brother (18 years old)

• Graduated from a SFUSD high school this past June and is now attending San Francisco State University full time with a declared major in Computer Science!

• Plays in a soccer league.

• Has shouldered the responsibility of taking care of his little sister often prioritizing her needs over his own.

Sister (10 Years old)

• Attends a SFUSD school and is in 5th grade

• Plays on her school’s soccer team and youth soccer league.

• Loves to sing and dance

• Enjoys engaging in school performances, art projects and making her own jewelry.

Donations raised will go towards housing, buying basic necessities such as groceries, clothes, hygiene products etc., paying for afterschool care, school/sport uniforms, school and college supplies, and sponsoring interests and hobbies (sports, reading, creative etc.).
