Ohaji Free better known as SimpleBlackTheory is planning on going to Minnesota for Operation Minnesota. Operation Minnesota is an initiative catered to delivering access to more resources for the citizens of Minnesota.

This cause focuses on delivering PPE (water, blankets, jackets, hot hands, etc.), safety (ie: salt for sidewalks), food, and contributing to local initiatives.

Who is overseeing the withdrawal of funds, into what bank account and their relationship to the individuals?

Ohaji Free (self) is transferring the funds from GoFundMe into a personal account to send to mutual aid organizations that cater to unhoused people, rental assistance, providing clothing/firstaid/etc.

Who is responsible for the management of the funds (purchasing, distributing items, etc) and their relationship to the individuals?

Ohaji Free (self) is in charge of purchasing, distributing, and the transfer of monetary funding outright to the mutual aid organizations for marginalized communities in need. Ohaji (the fundraiser) is an activist and advocate who works with mutual aids to provide necessary materials to support their goals.

Local Minnesotan organization leaders will then be responsible for the allocation of funds provided to assist their communities.

Will the funds be used for supplies or money? For either, how will you be distributing it amongst individuals and in what form? (i.e. cash distribution split evenly, etc).

At this time, monetary funds (cash distribution) will be distributed evenly amongst three mutual aid organizations in Minneapolis, Minnesota that specialize in aiding local native communities, providing assistance and support to unhoused individuals and families, and providing free food to the community of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Timeline for the aid to be offered to individuals.

Upon successful reinstatement of this fundraiser, funds will be disbursed evenly by June 12, 2026.
