OPERATION AVERAGE JOE’S LIGHTHOUSE!

My email is [email redacted] I grew up in Florida and currently live in Louisiana so I am well aware of how devasting a hurricane can be. Chris lives in Jacksonville Florida, but was raised in Atkinson, and Ware County Georgia. Our services are free to the people who need them, however, this mission does rely on support from all the average Joes out there. Chris' Story..

13 days ago on a Friday after work I was kicked back on my couch completely unaffected by Helene. As I scrolled through my Facebook all I seen was complete chaos and devastation to the people I love, my tribe, my friends, and my family. I didn’t know what to do but I couldn’t just sit there and watch my people suffer so I began to pray

I felt God calling me to help with the generator situation. So we brought in quite a few and was able to make some people some really good deals for below retail. Sunday rolled around and I had about a couple hundred cash so again I prayed.

IT was at that point that God began showing me to go get 500 bags of ice and hand them out completely free. “Operation Ice Georgia” would be launched as a result of this effort. That turned into us passing out over 65,000- 10 lb bags of ice for a total of 650,000 lbs. of ice to about 14/16 different counties in our state! In those days God would really be on the move positioning me in the seat beside local government officials such as CEOs of hospitals, EMA directors, Sheriffs, EOC officials, and so many fine people who wanted to help (thank you ALL I couldn’t have done this alone)! The need and demand was great but my source ✝️ was greater. I slept in the backseat of my truck only even getting a couple hrs rest over 2 nights of the 7 in abandoned parking lots. But I just felt this drive and ambition on another level than I ever had before. This ambitious push that could only come from the father. Only one explanation as to how a “cabinet guy” became known in places by so many funny names my favorite being Ms Katrena Felders version………Mr Chris “Cool As Ice” Smith. Another was Vanilla Ice and the Iceman only one explanation that was possible for all of this……GOD. Christ used me to build a team and implement strategies that would IMPACT our region and change lives while providing earthly necessities as well as eternal. The need for me in the Iceman role began to diminish after 7 LONG days and I finally found a real bed to get some good rest and was able to finally catch my breathe. I thought it was over

So that brings us to today. We deploy around 7 p.m. with a unit God allowed me to facilitate, which include some of our finest battle tested military. In 24hrs literally God aligned all the resources to launch a FULL SCALE tactical search and rescue team “God’s Gaurdians” into an operation that we have been led to name “Operation Average Joes Lighthouse.” We will be going into the Tampa area sneaking in around the backside of hurricane“Milton” as it passes in real time in order to launch our vessels asap in immediate search and rescue relief. If you seen the amount of resources God has aligned (stay tuned ) I’m sure you’d be as mind blown as me. It’s obvious God has been in the middle this whole time and someone was leading me on a journey “making deal after deal after deal.” I literally talked so much on the phone facilitating these deals to the point I was diagnosed with laryngitis one night 5 of “Operation Ice Georgia.” If you knew or I could share all of the things we have accomplished through Christ, you would be as humbled and mind blown as me.

I say all that to say this. Sometimes God places a person in your life for a short time to teach you skills and give you wisdom in areas that one day will come full circle for the kingdom and the glory of the Father. I spent ALOT of time with Joseph L Youmans over the last probably 8 years. I was and am still so shocked that this man who I seen as “invencible” is gone. I was going to post before about my time with him and I would just back it out because the words wouldn’t come to me. Today I can firmly and proudly say why. This is my memorial post to my friend and my brother whom I know is petitioning our Father on our behalf daily, only this time he’s in the father’s physical presence for all of eternity. Before you send me a thank you message or a I’m praying message (I’ve literally had thousands/hundreds per day ) thank this man they called “AVERAGE Joe Youmans” because he is LARGELY in part responsible for this. If not for the 1 on 1 closely nitted time he and I had together there NO WAY I could have ever done this or understood how to negotiate so many deals and be so effective so rapidly. This man is a very large part of the reason Mr Chris Cool As Ice Smith even exists. He’s a VERY large reason behind this upcoming 14 day full scale tactical search and rescue. He is responsible for so much of this and we all owe him so much honor and gratitude. I just wish he was here in the flesh to see it all because I know without a doubt he would be negotiating deals for me but I guess since he gave me the wisdom of that here on earth maybe just maybe ole “Average Joe” is negotiating on my behalf upstairs. I hope your proud bro and I know you are. I’ve looked to the sky many times in the last 2 weeks and I can see my ole buddy with that grin of his just smiling down. This 14 day mission “Operation Average Joes Lighthouse” is dedicated to you my friend and every life we reach, save, and change with the gospel is LARGELY in part because of you I miss you bro and I love you I’ll see you soon you are dearly missed hear on earth but your legacy lives on through the many lives you impacted!
