Operation International - Team Michigan - Uganda 2024

Hello! We are Operating Room Nurses and Certified Nurse Anesthetists who have been given the great opportunity to join Operational International Team Michigan. We are excited to be led by Detroit-based board certified surgeon Attasit Chokechanachaisakul. Our mission trip will be October 2024 to Rakai General Hospital in Uganda, Africa. We will be providing free surgical care to those in need.

Operation International (OI) is a secular, non-political, humanitarian organization whose goal is to improve communities in underprivileged countries around the world by doing the following:

1. Providing free surgical & medical care to patients

2. Training local medical professionals

3. Improving hospital infrastructures

4. Providing shelter and education to orphans
