Operation: Get M safe, heathy and happy.

As many of you know, M was placed in our care in 2020-2021 by the department of child services. We held onto hope that things were going well when he was reunited with a family member in 2021.

We had warning signs of things not being well with him a year ago, when we suddenly stopped hearing from M in the summer. He has not been allowed to speak to his birth Mom or his biological brother since then either.

We have found out that there have been a lot of dangerous criminal activities surrounding the person he was placed in the care of after he was released from our county and state.

Our attorney has advised us to file for custody, as they do not do guardianships in that state unless birth parents have passed on.

The legal cost is far more than we anticipated.

This is our M. He was loved and cherished here in our home, in our family, in our community and by all of his friends and teammates here.

We always knew he would come back to us; we just were not sure when. We figured it would be when he was of age to make the decision to leave on his own. Since he is still only 10 years old, we have to fight now for what is in the best interest of his future.
