Operation Comfort Kits For Homeless Veterans

Mortgage Nerds has teamed up with Desert Veterans of Wisconsin Fox Valley to collect *comfort items for local homeless Veterans and Families.  These items will be collected on October 31st from 10am - 2 pm @ Mortgage Nerds office located at 4090 W Spencer street Appleton WI 54914.  We will collect items in the parking lot.  Food and refreshments will be provided.  

Our goal is to collect items that you purchase.  However, we understand purchasing those items is not as convenient as donating money.  This is why we started this gofundme page.  100% of all money collected will go to Desert Veterans of Wisconsin - Fox Valley.  We will be relying on local business and the community to donate and spread awareness.   If you would like to volunteer the day of the event please email Mike Cox at [email redacted] to get registered.

*Comfort items include the following: Gloves, hats, sweatshirts, scarves, blankets, lip balm, beef jerky, trail mix, jackets, socks, sweatpants, foot warmers, toys, baby wipes, breakfast snacks, snack bars and personal hygiene items.
