Operation Christmas Child is a project of the international Christian relief and evangelism organization Samaritan's Purse. It involves collecting shoebox-sized gift packages filled with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and other small gifts. These gift-filled shoeboxes are then distributed to children in need around the world, particularly in impoverished or war-torn regions.
Since I was young, I have participated in Operation Christmas Child. I believe it embodies the spirit of giving and reflects God's love in a tangible way. God has blessed me in countless ways, and while these boxes may appear small, my hope is that they will bring joy and a sense of hope to the children who receive them, reminding them that they are truly loved and valued.
Funds given will be directly used to purchase gifts to place in the shoeboxes. Last year we had the opportunity to be a vessel of God's love and make an impact by creating 130 boxes. This year, I hope we are able to do more!
