Hi, my name is Dean and I am fundraising for my sister Frances Manard and her husband and son, Jeff and Brent. Last night, in the remaining hour of Resurrection Sunday, Jeff, Fran and Brent were awoken by the sound of a large explosion from their backyard patio. Upon investigating, the rear of the house was engulfed in flames, leaving just enough time to get themselves and their three dogs to safety. Over the next several hours, all they could do is watch as our courageous St. Johns County First Responders battled the flames (thank you to our St. Johns police, fire and rescue for their amazing work). Fran, Jeff and Brent are truly Blessed to have suffered no physical loss, however the fire consumed pretty much all of their possessions resulting in a total material loss.
