Operation Adopt Scarlett

This fundraiser is for a a very special little girl. Her name is Scarlett. Let me tell you a little about her story. The dada and mama she knows are actually her uncle and aunt, Paul and Brittany. They had been married for about 10 months and had just begun thinking about starting a family of their own when they received a phone call from Scarlett’s mom. She was having some difficulties and needed them to come get Scarlett. They jumped in the car and drove straight there not having any idea of what was in store for them. They picked Scarlett up and scrambled to get what was needed to care for her for the night. That night turned into a almost a year now. They have legal custody but now want to take the next step and adopt her. They weren’t financially prepared to be overnight parents last October but didn’t give it a second thought. Now the attorney fees associated with adoption are beyond what they can manage. Their selfless act to take on this task is inspiring and has touched the hearts of many. That and the fact Scarlett melts just as many hearts prompted me to offer others the chance to show their love and support to this beautiful little family.
