Opening up the world for Jayden and Jaxson

Our family consists of, my husband Shane, 4 kids and myself, Bec.
Our 2 youngest, are 9 year old twins, Jayden and Jaxson, who both have Cerebral Palsy and for one of them, additional health needs.
Jayden, though he has a limited vocabulary, is our biggest wee dare devil and adrenaline junky, with the best smile and laugh that will brighten anyones day! And to date has been fastest on the jet ski with Shane.
Jaxson, is an aspiring rapper and dreams to play on the big stages oneday. He has the biggest heart and is such a beautiful soul.
They are both growing up to be incredible young men with big dreams.

Anyone who knows us, knows it takes a lot for us to ask for help.
While we do our best to give them every opportunity we can, unfortunately it is getting harder, the older, bigger and heavier they get. Its not just lifting them in and out of the car for appointments or adventures. Its also lifting their wheelchairs in and out of the car.

They both rely on their wheelchairs to get around. At the moment, we are driving a Toyota Kluger and its just not practical lifting the boys in and out of the carseats and then dismantling and lifting the wheelchairs up into the boot anymore. Don't get me wrong, I love my car but Shanes and my backs aren't loving us these days.
We are currently unable to transport Jaxsons electric wheelchair at all.

Shane is a local furniture removalist and also does some local support work. I am currently working as a support worker, support coordinator and full time carer for the boys.

Getting a new car is not a want. It is an absolute need. We need to be able to safely transport our boys. While protecting Jayden, Jaxson and us from potential injury.

We do need to get a vehicle that we can convert. And the VW Carevelle has been highly recommended.
While there are so many options for conversions, due to the fact that we need a,
*2 wheelchair conversion
*still need to fit in underground carparks
*need space as they grow
*need longevity out of the car etc.
This is was the best option out of 3 that were recommended, for our requirements.

NDIS will (hopefully) pay for the conversion, which has been quoted at over $75,000
However, we have to buy the vehicle ourselves, at a cost of around $70,000 and this is where we would appreciate some help.

The NDIA also has requirements. It can't be older than 5 years. Which is great, right? However it can then take 18 months to 2 years for the whole process to take place and before we even get the car done and its back in our driveway! By then, the boys are almost (if not already) 11 years old, bigger and heavier!

We have been in contact with Automobility, who have been amazing at explaining the pros and cons of each vehicle, why this specific vehicle is highly recommended and the whole process.
Ideally we need to purchase a VW Caravelle, no older than late 2024. That in itself is going to be a challenge.

If we are unable to purchase this, we will look at a Ford Tourneo. However, this comes with a bigger cost for the conversion and more planning.

Times are tough, we absolutely respect that. And setting up a GoFund Me, has taken lot for us to do. But we would appreciate any help at all, even if you are able to share this, it would mean the world!
We are also going to look into doing some fundraisers to help.
