You are receiving this call to action for a reason.

You may have been one of our regulars, you may have attended an event at HavenHyggeHouse, you may have been part of our parent support groups, or you may be the grandparent of one of the babes that used to roam our space.

Regardless of how you know of HHH, you know what it did, what we stand for and what impact it had - today, I hope that you will pass on the power of community by supporting our fundraiser so I can move forward with opening our new community space without putting more stress on my own family's financial situation.

This all started a few weeks ago when I got caught in a rainstorm with Axel (our now 2 yr old)... I was out searching for the perfect stimulation for him, for playmates and social interaction... (we met no one out there, however, turns out he really loves the rain). The walk and the rain left me with the thought, "this is not okay!"

It is not okay for parents to not have a place where they can get to know their child in personal and social situations, it is not okay for us as parents to feel so f*cking lonely, and it is NOT okay for us to feel like no one is going through the same as us.

I swore I would never open another community space... It is not as easy peasy as it may seem - being in the arena of "putting yourself out there" is daunting and can also be risky (it is no secret that my family lost a significant amount of money when we closed HHH due to Covid)... however, I also deeply believe that we are all here for a purpose, and as it turns out, my purpose might be to make life easier and better for parents. And when the signs show up and the universe calls, who am I to turn my back and refuse to listen?

So here we go again.

This time around, the space will be smaller - less "impressive" and less "photo inviting" - however, I truly believe that we can make something meaningful and necessary happen: Community.

I have the space lined up, ready to be prepared for all of us - with your help.

I want to build a home for yet another community for my family and yours.
