Keeping the US Northern Land Border Closed is an insult and a deliberate slap in the face to all Canadians.
When the Canadian government announced on July 19 that its Land Border would open to Americans who were fully vaccinated on August 9, 2021, a stressful 16-month nightmare for Americans ended. Two days later, instead of Canadians hearing the much anticipated news of Land Border reciprocation, Joe Biden extended the nightmare on Canadians another 30 days by declaring the Land Border would remain closed until August 21. Then in a pre-dawn tweet on August 21, he extended the Canadian nightmare another 30 days. This continual border closing must end.
