Friends. My wonderful Ookie girl is in desperate need of emergency surgery. She has a condition called pyometra which is essentially an infection of the uterus. As it turns out, little Ooks has the worst possible version of this condition which has caused her uterus to fill, with no drainage. It’s been described to me as “a ticking time bomb.” Should the infected uterus rupture, she would not survive.
