The Onion Bag Litter Prevention Project

My name is Curtis Casto. I am President of The Onion Bag Litter Prevention Project. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Our mission is to install Onion Bag Boxes at every boating access to a waterway in the State of Ohio. We will be using some grant money and your donation to accomplish this task. After installation, we will usually find a local group willing to maintain and fill the box with bags. The cost of installing a box is around $50.00 and the bags will usually cost $50.00 to $100.00 each year.

We use these bags to collect litter while on the water, ours and any that we find. We use these bags because they are tough and last for many uses.

Our group also participates in and conducts river cleanups. We are in need of several canoes and a trailer to help facilitate this project.
