Ongoing Support for Arlo's Medical Needs

Dear Friends and Community,

Our precious little one, Arlo O’Donnell, is facing significant medical challenges at this time. He and his parents, Samantha and Rich, are fighters. But they need our support more than ever.

Over the past 8 weeks, Arlo has seen multiple specialists, undergone an MRI, CT Scan, multiple full body X-Rays, genetic tests, and blood work, trying to determine the underlying cause for his various medical issues. He continues to see multiple specialists to help identify what is causing his bone density issues, anemia, abnormal bloodwork, and malabsorption. This is unfortunately going to be his way of life for some time, while they try to get a diagnosis and treatment plan. The family has been dealing with the overwhelming grief of having a sick baby, as well as the loss of work and medical expenses that will be piling up throughout this process. While insurance covers some expenses, there are crucial aspects not covered, such as working with specialists that are outside of their plan, meeting copays, etc. The family is also making plans to stay home with the baby during this health crisis, to ensure he gets the best care possible while trying to maneuver through a very complex medical system.
